Q: I accidentally ordered the wrong item or no longer need my order, how can I cancel my order?

A: Email our Ecommerce Customer Support at; payments are not processed until the order is ready to be picked up/shipped, so in most cases, an order can be canceled before the payment has been accepted!

Q: When I check on my order it still says “Processing,” how will I know when my order is ready for pickup or has shipped?

A: It can take from 24-48 hours for our staff to completely assemble, process, and prepare your order. Once your order is complete you will receive an email that will look one of two ways: if you placed the order for pickup it will notify you that your order is now “ready for pickup,” while if you requested the order be shipped it will provide a tracking number with which you can keep up-to-date on the package.

Q: I need the item quickly but do not see an expedited shipping as an option, how can I be sure that my order will arrive in time?

A: We ship most orders through USPS Express which typically takes 2-3 days to arrive, although it can take up to 7 days. If you would like to upgrade to expedited/overnight shipping please contact ourEcommerce Customer Support and they will provide you with an expedited shipping quote.

Q: As a Cal Berkeley alumni do I get a discount?

A: We provide a 10% discount to all members of the CAA (Cal Alumni Association). We do not currently have a location to apply this discount to our online orders so please email our Ecommerce Customer Support with either a scan of your membership card or your membership number and we will credit 10% of the total to the transaction.

Q: The item I want is out of stock online, is there a chance it’s in stock in the physical store?

A: No. Our brick and mortar location shares an inventory with our online storefront, if it is out of stock online it will be out of stock in store as well.

Q: I want to order my books for next semester but will not be able to pick them up until I am back in town, will the student store hold my order until I return?

A: While we request that the order is picked up as soon as possible we do realize that a student may need to place an order while away on a break. If the order will not be picked up within two weeks please notify us of the date you plan on picking it up (the date does not have to be exact, but please try to be approximate).
